This is a strange combination of two originally independent stories: "The Pit and the Pendulum" and "The Cask of Amontillado". Supposedly the prisoner and a judge from the first one are the characters in the second one. It does not really make sense to combine these stories - just the audio play authors made one audio play instead of two. On the other hand - apart from this problem, the audio play is quite good. Though two separate audio plays would be even better.
