She is the recipient of the Daniel J Langton Poetry Prize, the League for Innovation Poetry Prize, and service awards for supporting underserved writing communities. Lara’s work is featured in journals including New American Writing, Visible Ink, Rogue Agent, Red Light Lit, Opium Magazine, and Transfer.
