Her grandmother, Theola Julia Montgomery, a devoted missionary, instilled a deep sense of faith in Latanya. In 2013, Latanya was licensed as an evangelist, setting her on a path of spiritual leadership. Latanya currently serves as a Spiritual Life Coach and continues to counsel, motivate, elevate, inspire, and educate through Mending Broken Pieces, the ministry God gave her to help people. Her life journey took a dramatic turn in 2014 when she faced a life-threatening asthmatic attack and survived only through the support of a ventilator. Despite this setback and a subsequent stroke in 2018, Latanya's resilience and unwavering faith led her to write "Mending Broken Pieces," a book originally intended for publication in 2015 but divinely delayed by God's greater plan.
