During his time in the USAF, while being stationed at Clark AB Philippines, he was introduced to the captivating world of Filipino martial arts, immersing himself in its rich heritage and traditions.
Under the guidance of Filipino Grandmasters, TC underwent rigorous training in various disciplines, including self-defense techniques, weapon arts, and the fundamental principles of discipline and respect. These esteemed mentors imparted their profound knowledge and deep wisdom, fueling TC's desire to excel in the martial arts.
Inspired by his training and the transformative impact it had on his own life, TC made the decision to share his passion with others. He founded the Cedar Hill Martial Arts Center, creating an environment where students of all ages could cultivate their physical and mental abilities.
For 13 years, TC dedicated himself to running a successful martial arts school, instilling in his students the core values of discipline, respect, and perseverance.
After retiring from active teaching, TC decided to share his knowledge and experiences with a wider audience. Through his writing, he aims to inspire and educate others about the pursuit of ageless flexibility.
