He is a retired pastor whose focus has always been on making Christianity accessible and easy for ordinary people to consider in everyday language. Counselling, teaching, and music have been cornerstones of his life together with writing. John enjoys reading, squash, golf, and rustic woodwork projects around the house and garden. He has written a book of poetry and prose: Into Depression and Beyond, Googling God: Searching for a Faith you can Believe in; and Broken for Good - what happens when Christians fail - a story of redemption.
