I returned to church four years after making my confirmation. I had joined an organization called Rainbow Girls and the only two requirements I needed to meet were:
1. To believe in God. (No problem there.)
2. To attend my own church.
I went back to my church (which was now in English) and hungered and thirsted for more.
Many times in my journey, especially at the beginning, I felt very much alone. My parents were not thrilled that I was going to church so much and I became the “black sheep” of the family.
I was a frightened, lonely, teenage girl whose only comfort came from God, and who longed to have a family that understood and supported me.
I wrote poetry to express my feelings. On the following pages is some of the poetry written on my spiritual journey. I share them now with you.weniger sehen
