She was an USAF nurse and a graduate of a three-year hospital school of nursing, four colleges to obtain a BSN, and the graduate studies at Catholic University and University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. During all this, she was moving as a military wife and mother of four. She has worked in almost every aspect of nursing before and after she served in the military—from the ER, pediatrics, surgery, and med surge to geriatrics and skilled nursing administration. Her passion is quality care for every patient, and she feels the pressure to move toward technology and away from care. She writes this with the hope that others will awaken to the trend and join her in pushing for a better system of care for our people.weniger sehen
