Her first career was in the performing arts, prior to returning to school in 2008 to accomplish her goal of becoming a psychologist. In 2012, Ms. Linn graduated with honors from California State University–Northridge with a BA in psychology and a minor in art and received her MA in clinical psychology in 2014 from Alliant International University, LA campus. Ms. Linn became interested in giftedness when working in the performing arts and then subsequently when working in art classes during her degree program. Many of the issues that gifted children face are often misunderstood for a variety of reasons, and through research, it became clear that one of the areas that is pertinent for gifted children is emotional regulation. The hope and intent of this project is to be a resource for those who are struggling to find ways to help gifted individuals manage the intense emotions they encounter but often have difficulties knowing how to regulate.weniger sehen
