Shirley has spent the past 16 years breeding, training and showing her dogs. She is a self taught exhibitor in both AKC and UKC. Shirley has learned to command the respect and adoration of the animals she trains and exhibits. This book is a collection of the experiences she has had in the show ring and to provide some guidance to others. Shirley candidly recants both her triumphs and her failures. In reading her accounts of each week’s activities, we are able to gain insight into what makes these devoted participants continue on what can be a very demanding show schedule.
