She has actively involved in research related to hydrology, water resources, dam safety, hydrodynamic flood modeling, reservoir sedimentation, stormwater & urban drainage. She is one of the inventors of an innovative sustainable urban drainage system namely Bio-Ecological Drainage Systems (BIOECODS) and Principal Investigator for GPTs Expert System called DeGPT, DSS for Dam EAP and Flood Mitigation software.
She is a Professional Engineer since 2003 (P. Eng. No.: 11742) and a corporate member of IEM (M25289) and a panel expert of detailed environmental impact assessment (DEIA). Currently, she is the President of Malaysia National Committee on Large Dams (MYCOLD) and Chairman, Technical Committee ICOLD for Dam Safety.
