Though introverted, being the creative expert that she was, she would watch other people doing things and then find creative ways in her mind to improve them. She acted in pantomimes, church skits, and school skits, some of which she still writes and choreographs. She enjoys reading novels and the writing of skits, plays, and children’s sermons.
She was taught to be obedient and courteous to others by her grandmother, with whom she lived for the early years of her life. Then Darien was a mixture of half-cup gullible and half-cup too trusting, thus she would believe anything that anyone said. Her extensive faith in people has brought her much disappointment in life, and though Darien has had a lot of rough times and struggled with the demons of distrust, fear, and brokenness, she has seen a lot of miracles through it all. God has answered her many prayers but has also put her faith to test a number of times. Through this, she has learnt to walk closer with God through his divine intervention in her life.
Darien has been a Seventh-day Adventist Christian for the past twenty-four years. She is married to Reid Toussaint, a native of Dominica, and together they have one daughter, Talisa. She holds a BA in elementary education and has been teaching for the past twenty years.
It is her sincere prayer that God will use this book to heal and restore people who are broken -hearted. She also hopes that others will recognize that God still works miracles, and that He is interested in every aspect of their lives.weniger sehen
