Encouraged by her teachers at school, she started writing this book when she was 9. After being pushed by her parents to put her pencils down before she turned 11, she finally set her mind to completing it!
Stella is modest about her perfect FCAT writing score. She has written short plays, extempore, poems and has won multiple writing awards such as PTA Reflections, and has been a finalist in many local competitions. Armed with the confidence gained from these achievements, she embarked on a journey to write this fantasy book.
She is also quite an artist, and has received several awards. All of the illustrations in this book were created by Stella and were digitized to be placed in the book.
Stella would like 50% of the proceeds from this book to go towards her school, Indian Trace Elementary.
This book may be a small offering, but for Stella it’s an opportunity to share her imagination with the world and inspire other young authors.
