I am Korri Palmer (she/her), a poet hailing from the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia. My poetic journey commenced as a means of catharsis in the 7th grade, when I discovered that journaling felt too arduous. As I nurtured my self-confidence, I took my first steps onto the stage of spoken word at the age of eighteen.
The majority of my poems delve into the intricate web of love, self-discovery, and the battles within the mind. These themes are intricately woven with my Black feminine identity. While I write primarily for my own sake, I share my art with those who fear that their raw vulnerability might not find acceptance.
