Ondre’ Tokai was born in Connecticut in December of 1975. Shortly thereafter, his family uprooted to the suburbs of Long Island, New York, where he attended school up until the middle of his junior year of high school, when his family uprooted yet again to Colorado Springs, Colorado. After working many retail and customer service–related jobs, Ondre took a job as a disc jockey at a local night club, where he met the future mother of his now-thirteen-year-old daughter, Autumn, and where he learned that many jobs are just like high school; only there was a paycheck at the end of the week and a lot more nudity. Later he became general manager at a couple of adult/lingerie shops and got to meet even more interesting characters. Many of these experiences have influenced his writing style and general thoughts on the world and the crazy, self-involved people that inhabit it. Some of his influences include eighties horror flicks, novels by authors such as Thomas Harris, Bret Easton Ellis, Clive Barker, Jeff Lindsay, Chuck Palahniuk, and Jim Carroll, just to name a few. In his spare time he usually takes in a good movie or a bad eighties flick. He likes to read and just travel to new places in general. He currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina.weniger sehen
