He graduated with both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University and continued his zest for learning by also obtaining executive certificates of leadership from Harvard and Georgetown. With over 15 years of military service, Belford fulfilled three different stints in Iraq (from 2004-05) as a private security employee, as well as serving as a member of the Coalition Provisional Authority. Despite a desire to continue his work abroad, a severe injury ended this assignment after his third tour of duty.
Belford maintains a love for travel and has had the incredible opportunity to live in Japan and visit all fifty of the United States, as well as many areas in other countries, including Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. He has an extreme love for sports and the outdoors and makes time for an occasional parachuting or bungee jumping encounter and regular hiking trips or cycling excursions. Visiting our nation’s ballparks is also a favorite past time and time spent with friends partaking in fine spirits is another leisure pursuit.weniger sehen
