He has worked with schools and universities across Europe on ERASMUS projects, and he's authored resources for a wide range of organizations including Google, the BBC, Costa, the British Red Cross, the South Georgia Heritage Trust and TUI. He has written and edited textbooks for all stages of school geography. Alan is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society, and he's also a Chartered Geographer.
