She has since published fifteen additional books for children. She’s currently creating a series of early reader chapter books based on her most popular picture book, Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster.Michelle travels the country extensively during the school year visiting schools with a goal to talk to as many children in this country as she can to share her message of dreaming big and attaining your goals through hard work and perseverance.Since 2011, she has spoken in schools, libraries, and community centers in 43 states, visited over 1000 schools and spoken with over a million children. She’s a a tireless advocate of literacy and empowering children through books. With hundreds of thousands of books sold, she is one of her publisher’s best selling authors.Michelle has two grown children and resides in Perdido Key, Florida with her husband and three dogs while working out of her home studio when she’s not traveling. She presents a weekly web show, Storytime Live which airs every Wednesday at 7:30pm on Facebook and features her books, art, and stories from her travels. In her spare time, she works on new book ideas and goes to the beach as much as she possibly can. She’s not opposed to the occasional Boston cream donut. Or éclair. She’s not picky.weniger sehen
