Throughout her schooling years, Sarah was an easily distracted student, synonymous these days to ADHD, and coupled with mild dyslexia, Sarah never believed she would master any skill associated with reading or writing.
Until one night, she was at a club enjoying the music and became incredibly inspired by a DJ. Sarah went home that night and out poured her first poem. Surprising herself with her natural gift, Sarah over came her lack of confidence in the literary arena and allowed herself to embrace these inspired words. Ten years on, Sarah has published her first book ‘Heart Deep - The Journey of a Light-Working Emcee’.
As Sarah’s love for music and rhyming has grown, so has her craft with words.
Sarah’s poetry comes straight through her heart, and with her unique view of the world as her filter, she allows her spirit to guide the formation of her words and give rise to her poetry.
