In the past three years, she and Bob have become active participants in the animal rescue and transport community and in the past year, have adopted their first two cats.
Miranda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with minors in Library Science and Secondary Education. She also holds two Masters Degrees—one in Library Science and the other in Art Therapy. Over the years, she has been a librarian and an art therapist, and she also has taught art to teachers at the college level. In her spare time, Miranda enjoys making artworks from recycled found objects and cast-off junk.
Miranda and Bob consider their pets as their children, and they have a fenced-in backyard dog park that Bob built on forested land. Miranda and Bob both love to observe the little behaviors and exchanges that occur between their pets. Bob takes the photos of all of their dogs and it is his photos that appear in the book. Miranda likes to learn about and do research on such topics as new toys, devices, treatments for diseases, and other products for their pets.weniger sehen
