He retired from the Air Force after more than twenty five years of service as Senior Master Sergeant, serving in the security forces and first sergeant career fields. He is a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force, Thomas Edison State College, and Arizona State University. He has authored and published two studies; “An Investigation Into the Possible Correlation Between Loss of Religious Values in American Culture and an Increased Crime Rate,” and “Park, Walk, and Talk a Study in Community Policing.” He has also written articles for Homeland Security Magazine and Airmen’s Magazine. He and his wife Sharon now make their home in Blanco, Texas. He is life member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, member of the Noncommissioned Officers Association, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Texas Region IV, member American Homeland Security Association and member of InfraGard Security Professionals.
