He spent the last twenty-five years providing finance to Fortune 500 companies in Texas such as Lucent Technologies, TriQuint Semiconductor, and Safety Kleen. He grew up in Texas, and his grandfather founded the first Lutheran church in San Antonio, Texas. His father worked two jobs so he could get an education. He currently lives in Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, Texas, with his wife, Sharon, and two daughters, Kelsey and Christine.
