* Master in Public Health degree from the University of Texas, Health and Science Center.
* Post Doctorate Fellowship in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan..
* Public administration and management training from Edwin L. Cox, School of Business.
* GIS training at Geospatial Research Analysis and Services Program; ATSDR Institute.
* Executive leadership training at CDC.
* Systems Analysis training at Andrew Young School of Policy Studies-Georgia.

* Chief of Residents and Hospital Director in Ecuador, (2Y),
* Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Cuenca-Ecuador, (4Y),
