He graduated with Military Distinction from the US Air Force Academy in 1992, with a Bachelors Degree in Military History and a minor in German. For the past 18 years he has been a leader as a flight commander, as Chief of Security Forces, and as the commander of two Security Forces squadrons, always enjoying the privilege of mentoring and supporting the young troops in his unit. He earned the Bronze Star Medal while deployed with the US Army as the Chief of Police for the International Zone in Baghdad, Iraq. He earned a Master of Arts in Religion degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership from Louisiana Baptist University.
