Beverly started in church at the early age of nine with her three cousins under the direction of their grandmother the late Rev Essie Williams.
Beverly and her mother along with her grandmother joined New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Washington DC.
In the early 70’s Beverly attended Woodson Jr. High School. Beverly transferred from Woodson Jr. High School to Hines Jr. High School this was where she spent her last two years studying music and secretarial skills before moving on to high school. While attending Hines Jr. High she joined the Hines Jazz Band where she performed around the Washington DC Metropolitan area and in school along with her school band mates.
Beverly participated in the Washington DC talent search at the Boys and Girls Club at the encouragement of her band teacher. Beverly performed in the talent search and from that show she was asked to audition with Orphuse Band and Show.
Beverly stayed with Orphuse for three years while attending high school from 1978 thru 1980 the band performed in various parks in the Washington DC area during the summer months along with other bands that are well known to this day.
After the bands broke up due to Band members going off to College Beverly joined the military in 1980 she served until 1986 then she rejoined the military in 2000 where she deployed to Fort Dix Army training base during the start of the Iraqi war in 2003 she song with the Fort Dix Chapel choire while station there. she is now an Evangelist.weniger sehen
