His parents, highly regarded throughout the area in which he grew up, were strong devout Christians. His younger years were spent in rural America; he attended High School in Wheeler, Mississippi, and Community College in Booneville, Mississippi. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and did graduate work at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Illinois. He served twenty-two years as Pilot, Navigator, and Observer in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His last assignment, accomplished in West Germany during the Cold War, was especially fulfilling. As Aircraft Commander of USAF multiengine aircraft, his passengers included: the President of West Germany, Gustav Heinemann and his governmental team, the Chancellor of West Germany, Willie Brandt, the Commander of the United States Air Forces Europe and later Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, David Jones, the Commander of the Strategic Air Command, General Dougherty, and numerous Senators, Congressmen and Congresswomen, and other Very Important Persons.
He is the father of one son and three daughters, and makes his home in Morganfield, Kentucky. As a retiree from the USAF, a local business, and Spoken Word Ministries, wherein he performed six biblical characters in First Person Narrative throughout eleven different states, he now devotes himself to speaking engagements and serving our DEAR LORD.weniger sehen
