At the end of the war he was not a teenager yet. The early childhood under war years, later the enormous restrictions and suffering through the Soviet dictatorship and the rapid and forceful departure from homeland left the author without time for childhood and adolescence. At the age of twenty nine he managed to escape totalitarianism and enter the free world. It took several years to adjust to life in a free society and get rid of constant fear, political pressure of the past and inhibitions resulting from it. Looking for a new homeland took him from the arctic circle in the Atlantic Ocean to south of the tropic of cancer on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. In late sixties he arrived to US and found himself comfortable in Florida. On July 4th of bicentennial year he became a US citizen. From that time a steady progress and lot of new and unexpected activities followed. Several years ago after retirement, with ample time on hand the diverse life experiences through the wandering years in foreign lands and communities were emerging. Summarizing the learned and contacting a few individuals with similar experiences and knowledge learned through reaching other cultures, faiths, ways of life, the idea to put all that together on paper was born. The written material is the spiritual understanding of life and the hardship experienced which led to comprehension. A concept of true enlightenment, contentment and peace of mind. For all those who freely communicate with their soul the result is very similar. Individual mental capacities aside, the description of the final result and understanding is comparable. The purpose of this book is to encourage every individual to enter into his/her own world of contentment, search and find the tranquility of the soul.
