A desire to help people grow personally and professionally has kept Barbara inspired through the years - along with a fascination with people and the way they behave - and she is a passionate advocate of lifelong learning. To paraphrase the words of one of her favorite speakers, you're either green and growing or ripe and rotting.
The best way to teach is to share, Barbara believes, and she has done so successfully in both the private and public sectors for over 20 years. Combining wit and wisdom with compassion and conviction, along with laughter - and sometimes tears - she has delivered her message to over 20,000 individuals in the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain.
Barbara has been a contributing writer in the Journal of Educational Media & Library Sciences; has authored two components of 353 Adult Education Project: Teacher Handbook for the Functional Skills Project With Applied Performance Assessments; has published articles and been quoted in professional periodicals, and is the creator of many original seminar modules. This book, Life Lessons from the Jungle: Naming the Elephant, is the first of several Barbara plans to extend her message: every human being has the power to be happy and personally fulfilled.weniger sehen
