Her loves as a child were taking ferry rides across the mighty Hudson to shop in the great city of Newburgh, riding the trolley to the top of Mt. Beacon, exploring the woods, listening to rock and roll music, and writing. Then came the loud clanging each day as the Newburgh-Beacon bridge was being built—a structure that would soon divert traffic and commerce away from the center of her small hometown, leading to the decades of its demise.Having survived Woodstock, the 60’s, the tumultuous 70’s, and a brief time in Northern California, she now lives back home in the Valley and is happy that Beacon is thriving again.Music has always been a huge part of her life and most days you’ll find Miranda hanging out in her music room singing and playing the guitar or ukulele. She listens to live music as much as possible, supporting local musicians. A natural story-teller, writing a novel was always one of her dreams. Miranda is married with two grown childrenweniger sehen
