Her short story, The Anointed, won the 'Champion' Short Story Competition in 1986. She won the prize for Satirical Verse at Strokestown Poetry Festival in 2004. Her short story, The Wall, was the overall winner of The Hannah Greally Literary Awards at the SiarScéal Festival in 2014.
