He holds a master's degree in journalism from Carleton University, where he has been a sessional lecturer since 2003. Jim has considerable experience using information laws to uncover stories. Before joining CP in 2003, he was a reporter with Southam News (now Postmedia News). Jim previously held various positions at CP and has also worked for the Ottawa Citizen, the Owen Sound Sun Times and TVOntario.
