Her relationship with Gracie, the Bull Terrier, began while she was working on her doctorate and just before she discovered she had developed new life altering medical conditions.
The areas Chris writes about include the history and context of disability studies and disability services; living with disability; and living with and training dogs. She is currently writing a young adult novel, a novel for adults, and a collection of essays about coming to terms with and thriving a life punctuated by chronic illness.weniger sehen
