On top of that, I watched way too much TV, which saturated my brain and fueled even more elaborate daydreaming. I’ve learned to bottle that to some degree and, more recently, to release it. I write science fiction pulp, borrowing often from fantasy, sometimes from horror, but always about characters wielding power on par with the challenges they face: deadly psychics, practitioners of fantastic martial arts, alien, world-consuming gods. Some of my favorite authors are Roger Zelazny, Alfred Bester, E.E. “Doc” Smith, H.P. Lovecraft, and Edgar Rice Burroughs. Hopefully, a little of their brilliance shines through in my attempts to tell good stories.weniger sehen
