He had a job in Conn. as a bank teller followed by three years in Maine as a morning DJ spinning records and telling lousy jokes. Most recently he spent 15 years living and writing books on a well-hidden horse farm in Vermont. Living there he discovered that the old saying that there are “more cows than people in Vermont” is correct.
