As Dr. Copeland was researching ways to help herself get well and stay well, she worked with groups of people who had similar stories of mental health challenges; they shared dreams of regaining their lives. WRAP® evolved out of this research and Dr. Copeland's personal experience. Her focus is on shifting the system of mental health care toward prevention and recovery through education, training, and research.
New England, specifically Vermont is where WRAP was "born", since then it exists in thousands of groups, hospitals, agencies and various mental health environments. WRAP is universal, there are people facilitating WRAP all over the world.weniger sehen
