The author has lived ten years in the Four-Corner's area practicing Emergency and Family Medicine. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill in 1995; completed a Family Medicine residency at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1998; practiced Emergency Medicine for two years in Tallahassee, Florida; and then lived in Cortez, Colorado from 2001-2010. The author has worked at several Indian Reservations in the Southwest, and his proximity to the Navajo Nation has allowed him to make personal contacts and to do primary research on Native American Cultures. The novel represents three years of research and offers a contemporary view of Navajo culture.
He now lives in Albuqueruqe, New Mexico and is working on a sequel to Navajo Gold.weniger sehen
