His career started in the field of Information Technologies. Attended Purdue University where his studies included business and electronic data processing. His working career started at Farm Bureau Insurance, Indianapolis, Indiana. He later joined the Information Technology department at American Fletcher National, Indianapolis, Indiana where his career blossomed. His job encompassed many facets of the banking industry. The most notable came when he was a part of forming a subsidiary with three major banks in the Indianapolis Market. This corporation was the first formed combining certain bank assets under the “Bank Service Act” forming a “Cold Site” for Computer equipment for recovery purposes in the event of a disaster. American Fletcher was the largest and most successful bank in Indiana. In 1987 American Fletcher merged with Bank One of Columbus, Ohio, forming what was known as an “Uncommon Partnership” in Banking. His banking career came to an end after 32 years with AFNB/Bank One.
He has published Finish Line Racing Magazine 1994-1997. The magazine became one of the first publications to be published on the Internet. Yahoo rated the magazine as one of the fastest going publication on the Internet in 1996. In 1996 he produced three Television Shows on Open wheel racing that aired on WALV-TV, Indianapolis, Indiana. Other accomplishments include; President / Chairman of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. He was a member of the Business Advisory Council of Easter Seal-Crossroad Rehabilitation Center, Indianapolis for 17 years. Publisher of It's Entertainment paper 2003-2004. He has been published in five different newspapers. He is the Host and Producer of a Political Internet Talk Show “Two Joes on the Street” (www.twojos.com).
