MACHINE HALLUCINATIONS: NATURE DREAMS, the latest exhibition by Turkish-born, LA-based artist Refik Anadol seeks to answer this question by processing large volumes of data from digital archives and publicly available photographs of nature into new interpretations of the earth we share. The outcome is a psychedelic and lucid experience, revealing artificial intelligence’s potential as a primary channel of artistic creativity. Active since 2008, Anadol’s works have explored the intersection of architecture, science, technology, and media arts.
