After being employed in the automobile industry he joined the Royal Oak Fire Department subsequently retiring as Captain after thirty-one years. Following his retirement he continued his lifelong hobby of the game of bridge and eventually sailed all over the world directing bridge games aboard various cruise ships. He still currently manages and directs bridge games. He always enjoyed telling stories to his granddaughters, which they repeatedly requested him to do, and which prompted him to write several children's stories on his own in hopes ofperpetuating young people's interest in reading and different cultures.weniger sehen
