She is a graduate of History and Education from the Adeyemi College of Education with a PG degree in International Relations from the OAU ile-ife in Nigeria. She is currently studying an additional PG degree in Childhood Studies and Early Years at the Leeds Beckett University, UK, a venture driven by her passion for the promotion of child protection and wellbeing in Nigeria in particular and the world in general. Aside from being an Early Years Practitioner, she has devoted time to creating child friendly literature to address issues affecting child wellbeing in the African society and indeed the world at large. The 5th child of a family of 7, Funmi is a devoted mother of one amazing girl, Oluwatimileyin Faye, her joy and inspiration for her continued child-centered practices.
