He is a founding member of the Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts, and is director of its Visual Faith Institute. A former missionary and professor at New College Berkeley, Dyrness focuses on global issues in theology and, especially, the relation between theology and the visual arts. His most recent books include Primer in Christian Worship; Poetic Theology: God and the Poetics of Everyday Life; and Senses of Devotion: Interfaith Aesthetics in Buddhist and Muslim Communities.weniger sehen
