He apprenticed with indigenous Native Americans in the old rituals of fasting, sweat lodges, and Sundances. His backpacking adventures into the wilderness, at times with his children and other times solo, revealed Nature’s secrets. He loves life and it's mysteries, is renewed by music, hosting a weekly radio show, and talks to people about their dreams in his private counseling practice.
