Augustino Lyimo
Rev. Augustino C. Lyimo was part of Jesus Celebration Centre (JCC) Mombasa, Kenya, and from 1986 a spiritual son of Bishop Dr.Wilfred Lai. Lyimo was part of Jesus Celebration Centre (JCC) Mombasa, Kenya, and from 1986 a spiritual son of Bishop Dr.Wilfred Lai. He was actively involved with the praise and worship, hospital ministry and outreach ministries.
JCC Mombasa then released Augustino to come to the UK to attend the School of Ministry at Kingdom Faith Bible College under Colin Urquhart. He undertook further studies with Elim Church. After completing his 4-year education the college sent Augustino to various churches to help.
In 2000 Augustino took his family back to Arusha in Tanzania where he started Zion Courts of Praise, which was and still is part of JCC Mombasa. In 2001 he heeded God’s call to return to the UK.
In 2005 Augustino established JCC UK, a ministry of JCC Mombasa,which will serve as the headquarters for branches in Europe. He is married to Susan Vivian Lyimo and they are blessed with three children, Elishama Reuben, Gabrielle Gwennan and Ruth Aquilah Lyimo.
In 2011, after seven years of faithful service, Augustino was ordained to the status of Reverend by Bishop Dr.Wilfred Lai.weniger sehen
