Novelist Georgette Symonds was born and raised in an Irish family in Brooklyn, New York. She later moved to Long Island’s South Shore where she pursued a career in nursing while raising her 3 children. Her lifelong dream to write became a reality when her story "The Good Night Kiss" was featured in "Chicken Soup for Every Mom’s Soul". From there the acclaimed author went on to write "Look Not Upon Our Sins" and "The Decision". Ms. Symonds has enjoyed speaking at many book stores and with book clubs. She is now living in Largo, Florida where she is currently working on her third novel "Bless Me Father" which will be out this fall.
