In 1977 his idea for Store Wars, a children's animated fantasy, was born while he was working night shifts stocking grocery store shelves. It was way back then that he knew he wanted to write. Life got in the way and it wasn't until 2006 that he finished his first novel, Snap. Writing in his spare time—in airports and hotels, on weekends and during late nights—is what it is taking to realize his dream of being a writer. Maintaining a good sense of humor also helps.
Mario has a diverse background. In a career ranging from real-estate agent to restaurateur to Director of Sales with two global corporations, his creativity and energy have always driven his success.
