Francine is an award-winning journalist, editor, and photojournalist, with articles and photographs published in regional newspapers and Christian magazines in Arizona and Europe. She's written travel columns and feature articles for secular publications. Francine is, an award winning public speaker and was one of Arizona's Outstanding Young Women of America.
She was first published in her hometown newspaper when she was 10 years old and had written a Thanksgiving poem. That's all it took to ignite a passion that's still going strong.
She is a committed Christian whose relationship with God is the most important thing in her life and believes her writing and photography are gifts her Creator wants her to use.
She has several blogs, "Words From the Heart," "The Storyteller," and "Heart's in Ireland."
She sums up her writing with a quote by Frederick Buechner: "The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet."
In her first contemporary suspense novel, "Death in the Desert," set in Cochise County, Arizona, journalist Meagan Wagner thought she could find safety after September 11th in her beloved southwest. She was wrong.
Francine also has a deep love of the Southwest and has recently published the first in the Discovering the West series of historical booklets, "Tombstone ... More Than a Legend." It's a walking tour of historic Tombstone. She is currently working on the second booklet, "Fort Huachuca ... Step Back in Time." Both will be published as ebooks in the near future.weniger sehen
